Persis Indian Grill & Bar

Since moving to the South from New York 8 years ago, I haven’t found an Indian Food restaurant until today. The lady that does eyebrow threading on Wrightsboro Road recommended this spot. It is one of the best restaurants I’ve been too in the South. The restaurant is clean. Good Customer Service. The food was amazing . Everything was so fresh and taste delicious. The garlic bread naan is so fresh - straight out the brick oven. The tandoori chicken is great. The lamb vindaloo was mouth watering. I will definitely be coming back. The menu has a big selection to chose from so there are many dishes I can’t wait to try very soon. Found a new go-to

Came here on a business trip and SO glad that I did. Great friendly service. Food came out a little slow but they gave some good apps/snacks. The Goat Rogan Josh was so good and cheese Naan bread great. Enough food for two people. I will be back.

This place is so authentic. Last year after hurricane Helene ate here often. Returned to Augusta and I'm here again. Mango Lassie, vegetable samosa, curry chicken. Very quiet tonight.

An absolute delight! The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was very chill. The food was the star of the show. I had lamb biryani and it was a massive portion and so delicious. The meat was seasoned perfectly, not overly spicy. We also got a vegetarian sampler appetizer, really good variety and a large portion. I will definitely be back!

I had the best biryani here in a long, long time! The aroma hit me the moment the plate arrived, and every bite was bursting with rich spices and perfectly cooked rice. The meat was tender, flavorful, and fell apart effortlessly. It’s rare to find biryani that’s so well-balanced— neither too oily nor too dry, just pure perfection. The service was warm and prompt, and the ambiance made the whole experience even better. If you’re a biryani lover, this place is a must-visit. Already planning my next visit!

Persis is by far the nicest and most authentic South Indian food I have ever had. Not only is the food incredible, the service here is consistently excellent, and the staff are kind and very attentive. They are willing to go above and beyond for you to have a great meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is enjoyable, there is always a pleasant incense burning by the entrance and some nice music playing. The place is clearly well cleaned and taken care of. You're really getting a top-tier dining experience. Persis is a hidden gem that you cannot miss.

Service was amazing! Staff is extremely knowledgeable and polite. Servers had helpful suggestions for first time customers. Food was amazing. Everything super clean. Plenty of choices for you. Price are very decent. Parking is not an issue. Definitely a must try!

This place is a 100% recommend. If you are in the area, please stop by. We both ordered the chicken 65 biryani medium heat. It was very flavorful and in a very large bowl so I could only eat half and take the rest home which I had for lunch the next day, which was just as delicious if not more. I ordered the Samosa. They were very flavorful and the perfect size. I also ordered garlic naan, which I love. We also had an order of goat. I never had go before I tried it. It was very good, flavorful and seasoned well. All the food was 10/10
